You Can't Take The Internet Too Personally

Must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and I guess that is why the broad generalization and connection of events out of context in a story I found on Digg this morning just pissed me off.

I buried the story and spent a few minutes checking out both the person who submitted the story and the originating author's background.

But while I sat there writing a comment to the poster and originating author I realized it just was not worth my time.

There are billions of opinions out there. This was just one. The point is to not get side-tracked by stupidity and ignorance. Pick your battles wisely and stay away from arguments and confrontations that don't add value to what you are doing or trying to accomplish.

There is only so many hours in the day. Don't waste time on things meant to bring you down.

Meandering Through the New Ponds of Concord

Instead of sitting in a parking lot-commute all morning I decided it would be more fun to try some of the side roads around the Maynard - Sudbury - Concord areas. While I was able to see some gorgeous homes, I just wasn't able to find a connecting side road that did not end in flooding. Eventually I realized that as soon as I found a road with little traffic it would lead a new pond from last weekend's rainwater. Here are some of the photos...
